We just want to let you know that, yes, there IS other options that are presently organizing, collecting signatures for their party's -- or independent -- candidates, pursuing the insurmountable task of getting on the ballot in Indiana for the November 3 general election.
Of course, I do acknowledge there's going to be MAJOR differences with other 3rd parties, dealing with different ideologies, platforms, organizing tactics and those running as independents outside of the 2-headed duopoly parties, but having to talked to several people over the years outside the Green Party, I've found there is some common ground in the fight over ballot access, issues that NEVER get discussed by the major parties, how to reform the terrible election system, etc.
Among those one may consider are the Socialist Party of Indiana, the Indiana affiliate of the Justice for All Party, the American Solidarity Party, and the Libertarian Party of Indiana [the latter already having ballot access] and various independents that one can eventually find here. The Indiana Green Party wishes all of you well in this quagmire known as Indiana election law, and we'll be willing to assist your party in any capacity [whether signing your petitions, reforming them post-election, so on and so forth].
As for what's going on in the Indiana Green Party, due to the amount of burnout we had after the 2024 ballot drive [that I'm sure many of you are familiar with (LINK)], for now we won't be running an Indiana Secretary of State candidate in 2026 and is instead going to focus on running local races in the midterm [if interested, please check out some resources here and here], with the intent of reforming ballot access after the election and hopefully focus on 2030.
Take care and hope to hear from you soon. Live Green, vote Green
